vivo Philippines is set to unveil the vivo V80 on Oct. 30, highlighting artificial intelligence-powered photo editing tools and a camera system developed with ZEISS optics as manufacturers continue adding creative features to smartphone photography.
One of the device’s key features is Creative Sticker Collage, an AI-powered tool that converts subjects and objects in Live Photos into stickers that users can combine to create animated compositions.
The feature allows users to incorporate people, pets and other elements into different scenes, such as placing a person on a paper plane or enlarging a pet within a creative composition. The resulting images are designed for sharing on social media and other digital platforms.
The upcoming smartphone will also include an AI Creative Camera that applies lighting effects with a single tap. Options such as Sunlight, Glow and Top Lighting are intended to change the atmosphere of a photo without requiring users to adjust multiple settings manually.
Camera system combines AI and ZEISS optics
Another feature, CCD Flash Portrait, applies a retro-inspired aesthetic using flash fill-light and image processing designed to produce vintage colors and stronger contrast while retaining clear facial details and natural-looking skin tones.
The feature is intended for portrait photography in different lighting conditions, including nighttime scenes where the subject can be emphasized against a darker background.
These software tools complement the vivo V80’s imaging hardware, which includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel ZEISS super telephoto camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera and a group selfie camera.
The combination is designed to support different shooting scenarios, from close-up portraits to group photos and wider scenes. The company has not yet disclosed the full specifications, pricing or retail availability of the device in the Philippines in the supplied announcement.
