OPPO Find X10 series to debut globally with triple 200MP camera system

OPPO will unveil its Find X10 flagship smartphone series on Oct. 21 in Mallorca, Spain, introducing new camera hardware, upgraded video recording capabilities and artificial intelligence features as the company expands its premium smartphone lineup.

The series comprises the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, with both models featuring imaging technology developed in collaboration with camera manufacturer Hasselblad and powered by OPPO’s LUMO True Image Engine.

The Find X10 will feature a dual 200-megapixel camera system, while the Find X10 Pro Max will have three 200MP sensors covering its ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras. OPPO said the triple-sensor configuration is a first for smartphones.

Pete Lau, OPPO senior vice president and chief product officer, said the collaboration with Hasselblad aims to improve detail, color and tone in mobile photography.

“Together with Hasselblad, we are taking another significant step forward with Find X10 Series, bringing true-to-life detail, color and tone to everyday photography,” Lau said.

The LUMO True Image Engine combines OPPO’s computational photography technology with the color information captured by the True Color Camera. The company said the system is designed to reproduce natural skin tones, fine textures and scene contrast.

Video recording and processing

The Find X10 Pro Max will support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second and 8K recording at 30 frames per second across all three rear cameras. The Find X10 will offer the same recording capabilities on its two 200MP cameras.

The series will also introduce Open Gate Capture, which uses the sensor’s full imaging area to give users more flexibility when cropping and reframing footage for landscape, portrait and other formats during post-production.

The Find X10 will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600M chipset, while the Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones to use the 2-nanometer Dimensity 9600 Pro, according to OPPO.

Both models will feature an 8,000-milliampere-hour silicon-carbon battery, with the company claiming up to two days of typical use on a single charge. OPPO also said the battery is designed to retain more than 80 percent of its original capacity after five years of typical use, based on its laboratory data.

Battery capacity will vary by market. OPPO noted that the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max will have 7,150mAh batteries in selected markets.

Design and AI features

The series introduces a Borderless Design with sculpted glass extending into the camera module. The Find X10 will be available in Glacier Blue and Mist Grey, while the Find X10 Pro Max will come in Titanium Grey and Luna White.

The Pro Max’s Luna White variant features a camera module with a matte silver finish, a dual-flash system and detailing inspired by traditional cameras.

Both smartphones will run ColorOS 17, which introduces Living Flow Design and AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode. OPPO said the AI feature can connect information from files and photos on the device to help users complete complex tasks through a single prompt.

OPPO will announce the full specifications, pricing and availability of the Find X10 series at its global launch in Mallorca. The company has not yet disclosed Philippine pricing or local availability in the supplied announcement.
