Huawei launches WATCH GT 7 series, WATCH D3 in the Philippines

Huawei has launched the WATCH GT 7 series and WATCH D3 in the Philippines, expanding its wearable lineup with sports tracking, health monitoring and artificial intelligence-powered insights. Prices start at P14,999 under the company’s promotional offers.

Available beginning Oct. 9, the devices target different user needs, with the WATCH GT 7 series focusing on fitness and outdoor activities, while the WATCH D3 emphasizes continuous blood pressure monitoring and cardiovascular health indicators.

The WATCH GT 7 series features Huawei’s Sunflower Positioning System and AI-XDR Positioning for GPS route tracking, including in challenging outdoor environments. It supports more than 100 sports modes, as well as climb reminders and planning features.

The series also includes a Diabetes Risk Study feature, while the WATCH GT 7 Pro supports a Coronary Heart Disease Study. Huawei said AI-powered Workout Analysis will provide personalized coaching, recovery insights and training recommendations through software updates, which may not be immediately available on all supported devices.

The WATCH D3 is designed for users seeking more frequent blood pressure monitoring. Its ambulatory blood pressure monitoring system supports 24-hour tracking, with an updated schedule that reduces daily cuff inflations from 27 to seven.

The device also provides daily blood pressure summaries and reminders, while its Health Glance feature brings key indicators together in one view. Huawei said the watch includes CE-certified electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) measurements, alongside Coronary Heart Disease and Diabetes Risk Studies.

Huawei also highlighted AI-powered Health Insights and an On-wrist Health Community feature that allows users to follow the health information of family members.

The company cautioned that some features, including the Coronary Heart Disease Study and AI Workout Analysis, will be rolled out in batches through software updates and may not be immediately available on all supported devices.
