Leading fiber broadband and technology provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. scored a double win at the Asian Experience Awards 2026, receiving recognition for its consumer and enterprise initiatives.
Converge won the Philippines Product Experience of the Year – Technology award for its “Live to the Power of X” campaign and the Philippines Digital Experience of the Year – Telecommunications award for its B2B podcast initiative, Where the Digital World Converges: Conversations on Cloud.
The awards recognize the company’s efforts to develop customer experiences around how consumers and businesses use digital services.
Reimagining broadband around how Filipinos live
Converge won the Philippines Product Experience of the Year – Technology award for its “Live to the Power of X” campaign, which offers lifestyle-based products that allow customers to choose solutions based on how they live, work and play online.
Traditional broadband products often emphasize technical specifications such as speed, bandwidth and price. While these metrics remain important, Converge said they do not always help consumers determine which plan best fits their needs.
As internet speeds became increasingly comparable across providers, Converge redesigned its product experience around customer needs rather than speed tiers.
Products such as GameChanger for gamers, Netflix Bundle for entertainment, Time of Day for changing online schedules, and Super FiberX for connected families allowed customers to select services based on their daily online activities.
“By organizing its offerings around customer needs and behaviors, Converge made it easier for consumers to identify products relevant to their lifestyles while highlighting the value beyond connectivity itself,” said John Paul Aguilar, Converge senior vice president and acting head of Consumer Sales and Marketing.
The company said the strategy resulted in increased adoption of higher-value broadband plans, while bundle adoption rose from low single digits to nearly half of all subscribers. The initiative also reached millions of customers and contributed to overall subscriber growth.
Bringing enterprise technology conversations beyond the sales pitch
Converge Global Business Group, the company’s large-enterprise unit, also won the Philippines Digital Experience of the Year – Telecommunications award for its B2B podcast initiative, Where the Digital World Converges: Conversations on Cloud.
The award recognizes the initiative’s use of journalistic storytelling to broaden discussions on technology and the country’s digital future.
As enterprise technology becomes increasingly complex, Converge said decision-makers need accessible discussions on digital sovereignty, infrastructure and the data economy. The company created the initiative to make these conversations more accessible while moving beyond traditional promotional messaging.
“In the enterprise space, decision-makers don’t just need products; they need perspective. By prioritizing genuine advocacy for digital growth over hard selling, we create an open space where leaders can navigate complex topics like cloud infrastructure and data sovereignty with confidence,” said Grace Jarin-Castillo, senior vice president and head of Corporate Business Group, Converge Global Business.
Converge co-produced the editorial podcast series with business news organization BusinessWorld, focusing on discussions rather than conventional brand promotion. The series brought together leaders from the private sector and public institutions to discuss issues shaping the country’s digital development.
The podcast was distributed across multiple platforms, with audio and video content available on Spotify and YouTube. Social media was also used to promote the content and engage audiences.
Converge said the initiative expanded its digital reach among targeted audiences, generating tens of thousands of views among business professionals on social media platforms, as well as video views on YouTube and listenership on Spotify.
The project also generated media coverage and was intended to strengthen Converge’s engagement with stakeholders in the enterprise market.
Through the initiative, Converge shifted its communications approach from direct selling toward informative engagement, with discussions involving public- and private-sector stakeholders on the country’s digital development.
The Asian Experience Awards recognizes initiatives by companies that deliver brand experiences for clients, potential customers or employees.
