Globe Telecom says its artificial intelligence program has moved past adoption and is now producing measurable financial results. As of August 2026, the company reports ₱1.2 billion in measurable value from AI, a 2.8x return on investment.
Where the value came from
According to Globe, more than ₱825 million came from incremental revenue tied to AI-powered commercial and customer initiatives. These include Globe Rewards optimization, roaming services, lending products and postpaid service enhancements.
Another ₱368 million came from cost avoidance across finance operations, customer engagement, marketing technology and order management.
Globe also reported more than 52,000 productivity hours saved, which it values at ₱28 million.
Inside the company
Globe says AI adoption across the enterprise stands at 90%, and that more than 450 employees are part of its internal AI builder community.
“The real measure of AI is not how many people are using it, but what it actually improves,” said Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz.
Why it matters
Many companies can say how many employees use AI tools. Fewer can put a peso figure on what those tools return. Globe’s shift from counting users to tracking value is the kind of accountability investors and enterprise customers increasingly ask for.
The numbers are Globe’s own and the company did not detail how it measures incremental revenue or cost avoidance. Globe said it will keep tracking value as AI becomes part of daily operations.
